A jug of water containing 5.00 kg of water is sitting on a table at sea level. The bottom of the jug has a radius of 10.0 cm. What is the pressure on the bottom of the jug?

Pressure is given defined as force or unit area.

And here force is applied by weight of the water and area is bottom of the jug.

Thus pressure,

P = weight/area

= mg/πr^2

= 5x10/314. [πr^2 = 314]

P = 0.15 N/m^2
