Answer :

There once lived a king who was very fond of flower pots. He was a collector of clay flower pots and had many unusual flower pots with unique patterns in his palace garden. Once the king went to a neighboring kingdom for a celebration and was gifted a set of fifteen beautiful pots by the King of that kingdom. The King had never before seen such splendid work on clay pots. He got the flower pots placed in a separate section of his garden and appointed a young man to look after them. The young man planted exotic varieties of orchids in the pots and cared for them day and night. One day he accidentally dropped one of the flower pots while cleaning them. When the King learnt about this he was very angry with the young man and ordered him a death sentence. The day of the final punishment arrived soon and the young man expressed a last wish to see the remaining fourteen pots that he had nurtured. The king took pity on him and granted him his last wish. As soon as the pots are brought, the young man picked up a stick lying near him and broke all of them with heavy blows from the stick. This time the king loses his temper completely and asks the young man the reason behind his action. The young man replies that he had saved fourteen lives. The king wants to know how. The young man replies, "If one broken pot can send me to death, why can't other pots send other fourteen innocent people to death." Upon hearing these words, the King realizes his mistake and forgives the young man and rewards him with a good position in his court.
