Dear Diary:

Today we had a great fun at the riverfront! The Kite-Club organized a kite flying competition for the local people on the eve of Independence Day Celebrations. The kite enthusiasts brought colorful kites and strings. The sky over the school was full of tri-color kites. I also flew a big tri-color kite and cut the strings of many other kites. A kite-flying competition was also held. I won the contest by cutting maximum number of kites. The president awarded the winners medals and certificates. It was a wonderful day. I will cherish it for a long time!
