We must divide the bigger triangle into two halves
Area of each triangle= 1/2× Base × Height
= 1/2 × 32 × 16 = 16× 16 = 256
Total area = 256 + 256 = 512
The are of the lower triangle can be found using heron's formula
= Altitude= 1/2 × ab (Sides) (Sin C)
After finding this altitude, add it with the area of the bigger triangle and then you get the answer.
