sin(theta)=perpendicular side/hypotenuse

sin30*=60/x (let the string lenth x)

1/2=60/x

so x(the string length) is x=60X2=120m.

Length of string is 120 m.

Step-by-step explanation:

1. From attach figure right angle ΔKLM

  let kite is position at K

  Length of string = KL

  Height of kite from ground (MK) =60 m

 Angle made string with horizontal =30°

2. From

   \sin \theta =\frac{MK}{KL}      ...1)

   \sin 30 =\frac{60}{KL}

   \frac{1}{2}=\frac{60}{KL}     ...2)

3. On solving equation 2) ,we get

    Length of string (KL)= 120 m
