A kite is flown with a 250 m long thread. if the thread is asdumed to be stretched and makes an angle of 60° with the horizontal, then the height of the kite above the groung is ?

Length of string =250m = AC
Angle made by string and ground = 60°
To find the distance of kite from ground i.e. BC
Therefore,
=> sin60° = BC/AC. (sin60° = √3/2)
=> √3/2 = BC/250
=> BC = 250√3/2
=> BC = 125√3
So,
Height of the kite above the ground = 125√3 m
