A kite is flying at a height of 60m above the ground. The kite is tied at the ground. It makes an angle of 60° with the ground. Assuming that the string is straight, find the length of the string. (√3 =1.73)​

let the length of the string be x metres

then \:  \frac{x}{60}  =  \cosec(60)  = \:  \frac{2}{ \sqrt{3} }

 =  > x = 60 \times  \frac{2}{ \sqrt{3} }

 =  >  \frac{120}{ \sqrt{3} }

 =  >  \frac{120}{ \sqrt{3} }  \times  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{ \sqrt{3} }

 =  >   \frac{ \sqrt[120]{3} }{3}

 =  >  \sqrt[40]{3} metres

= > 40 × 1.73

= > 69.2 metres
