S O L U T I O N :

[ According to the diagram ]

  • Angle of elevation (θ) = 30°
  • Hypotenuse (RJ) = 60 m

Now,

Let, height of the kite from the ground be "x".

We know that,

=> Sinθ = Perpendicular / Hypotenuse

=> Sinθ = RA / RJ

=> Sin30° = x / 60

=> ¹/2 = x / 60

=> 2 × x = 1 × 60

=> 2x = 60

=> x = 60/2

=> x = 30 m

Therefore,

The height of the kite from the ground is 30 m.
