We are supposed to find the the height of kite from the ground i.e. AC .

We will use trigonometric ratio :

In ΔABC

AB = Hypotenuse = 165 m

AC = perpendicular

∠ABC = 30°

Sin\theta=\frac{Perpendicular}{Hypotenuse}

Sin30^{\circ}=\frac{AC}{AB}

\frac{1}{2}=\frac{AC}{165}

\frac{1}{2}\times 165=AC

82.5 m=AC

Hence the the height of the kite from the ground  is 82. 5 m
