Answer:

he remain absent for 51 days

Step-by-step explanation:

the total amount that he would like to receive for 20 days of work is 20×280= 5600

But he received 2450 rupees for the whole work

the deducted amount from total is 5600-2450=3060 rs

the no of days he remains absent is 3060/60

= 51 days he remains absent

Answer:

No of days he worked = x

No. of days he didn't work = 20 - x

According to question,

Rs.280(x) - Rs.60(20 - x) = Rs 2540

x = 11

No of days he worked = 11

No of days he was absent = 20-11=9
