Step-by-step explanation:

32×30=income he should get

=960

he gets 560

when he is on leave he does not get 30 and infact have to give 10

mean he has loss of 40 per day

960/40

=14

he was absent for 14 days

\boxed{\boxed{\mathtt{ANSWER = 10\:Days}}}

\bold{\underline{\underline{Step-by-step\:explanation:}}}

\impliesLet the number of days he absented = x

\therefore The number of days he worked = 32 – x

\thereforeThe payment for (32–x) days = 30(32–x) = 960–30x

\impliesThe fine of x days = Rs 10x

\therefore (960–30x)–10x = 560

\implies960–40x = 50

\implies or, –40x = 560–960

\implies –40x = –400

\implies x = \sf\cancel\dfrac{-400}{-40}

\implies x = 10 days.
