a labourer was engaged for a months 30 days on the condition that he will receive rs 50 for each day he works nd will be fined rs 10 for each day he is absent if he receives rs 1200 at the end of the month calculate for how many days he remained absent ?

TOTAL MONTH SALARY = 30*50

                                           =1500/-

SALARY HE RECEIVED=1200/-

REMAINING AMOUNT=1500-1200=300

NO.OF ABSENT DAYS=300/10=30 DAYS

In 30 days he have to earn =30*50
=1500
But he earned 1200
So he got ₹300 less
He will be fined ₹10 each day he was absent so he will also not got ₹50 for each day he was absent
So 300/60
=5
So he was absent for 5 days
