a labourer was hired to complete a certain work in 3 days he completes 38 of the work on the first day and 25 of the work on the second what fraction of work needs to be done on the third day in order to finish the work​

CASE 2 ( We consider the remaining work as the whole work)

On first day work have to done work = 100%

So

Remaining work = 100 - 38 = 62 %

Work on second day = 25 % of remaining work = 25 % of 62 % =15.5 %

So remaining work = 62 % - 15.5 % = 46.5 %

Thus

Work need to do 46.5 % on third day
