a ladder 1.5 metre is placed against the wall in such a way that the foot of the ladder is 0.6 away from the wall. Find the height of the wall to which the leader pictures​

Answer:

heght of wall^2 = 1.5^2-0.6^2

so the height of the wall is 1.37m

by using Pythagoras theorem u can also solve this by using trigonometric ratios..

length of the ladder =1.5m =150cm, distance between the foot of the ladder and the wall= 0.6m=60cm.

by Pythagoras theorem

H^2= P^2+B^2

150=P^2+60^2

22500=P^2+3600

P^2=22500-3600

=19900

P=19900square root=
