Answer:

Step-by-step explanation: Let the length of the ladder be =15m(hypotenuse)

The angle between the ladder and the wall ∠BCA=60

 Angle between ladder and the ground ∠CAB=90   −60

∘  =30

Height of the wall =BC

sin30 = BC/15

  1/2 = BC/15

BC = 15/2 = 7.5M

VERIFIED ANSWER:-

Let AB be the ladder and AC be the wall.

Given: AB 15m and ∠BAC = 60°

Now in right ∆ACB

Cos \:  60°= \frac{ac}{ab}

 \frac{1}{2}  =  \frac{ac}{15}

ac =  \frac{15}{2} m = 7.5cm

Hence the height of the wall is 7.5 m
