a ladder 17 M long reaches a window which is 8 m above the ground on one side of a street keeping its foot at the same point , The ladder is turned to the other side of the street to reach a window 15 M high find the width of the street

The answer is 23 m........
you can find it by using Pythagoras theorem........both sides...in which one side comes 8 cm and one side comes 15 cm......by adding both sides you will get the width of the ladder
