Solution :-

Draw the figure according to the given information

[ Refer to attachment ]

From figure :

Length of the ladder AC = 10 m

Height of the wall BC = 5 m

Angle made by the ladder AC with horizontal AB = θ

Now using trignometric ratio,

⇒ sinθ = Side opposite to θ/Hypotenuse

⇒ sinθ = BC/AB

⇒ sinθ = 5/10

⇒ sinθ = 1/2

⇒ sinθ = sin30°

[ Because sin30° = 1/2 ]

Comparing on both sides

⇒ θ = 30°

Hence, the angle made by the ladder with the horizontal is 30°.
