length of ladder =25 m
length of buliding =20 m
therefore the length from the foot of ladder to buliding= x
20²+x²=25² { phythagors theoram }
x²=625-400
x²=225
x=15 m

hii mate here is the answer to your question
length of the ladder is 25 m .
length of the building is 20 m.
let us assume that the length of the foot of the ladder from the building as x .
therefore by applying pythagoras theorem, we get
20^2+x^2=25^2
---->>x^2=625-400=225
---->>x=sq.rt under 225=15.
therefore the distance of the foot of the ladder from the building is 15 m .
hope this helps
