--------------------------------------

Here is the solution:

--------------------------------------

*Assuming that the 10cm is meant to be 10m

Find the height of the wall:

a² + b² = c²

a² + 10² = 26²

a² = 26² - 10²

a² =576

a ≈ 24 m

Answer: The height of the wall from the ground to the top of the ladder is 24 m

Answer:

24 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Lenght of ladder = 26m

Lenght between base of wall to ladder = 10m

Let the height of ladder till wall be 'x'.

26² = 10² + x²

676 = 100 + x²

676 - 100 = x²

x² = 576

x = \sqrt{576}

x = 24 m
