Find = distance between ladder and foot of the wall be B = ?

Solution : By Pythagoras theorem

B =√ p^2 - H^2

B = √(17)^2 -(15)^2

B = √ 289-225

B = √64

B = 8 m

Here , P = perpendicular

H = Hypotenuse

B = Base

Hence , the distance of the ladder from the foot of the wall is 8m
