Here , hypotenuse = ladder

Let H be the hypotenuse of the right triangle.

Using trigonometry , the ratio of side opposite to angle to the hypotenuse is sine of angle.

For the given situation  , we have

\sin 30^{\circ}=\dfrac{15}{H}\\\\ (\dfrac{1}{2})=\dfrac{15}{H}\\\\\Rightarrow\ H=2\times15=30

Hence, the length of the ladder is 30 m.
