As stated in the question.. It will form a right angled triangle... With its base (15 m) and height (20m)
Then applying Pythagoras theorem
Hypotenuse ²=base²+height²
=) 15²+20²
=)225+400=652
Hypotenuse =25 cm

So the length of the ladder will be 25 cm

Answer:

25

Step-by-step explanation:

(Length of the ladder)²

= (Distance between the foot of the ladder and the bottom of the building)² + (Distance of top of the ladder from bottom)²

= (15)² + (20)²

= 225+400

= 625

that is

(Length of ladder)² = 625

Length of ladder = 25m
