Answer:

Height of the wall is 2.598 meters .

Step-by-step explanation:

As given

A ladder is placed against a wall such that it just reaches the top of the wall. The foot of the ladder is 1.5 metres away from the wall and the ladder is inclined at an angle of 60° with the ground.

By using the trignometric property

tan\theta = \frac{Perpendicular}{Base}

tan\theta = \frac{AB}{BC}

\theta = 60^{\circ}

BC = 1.5 meters

tan\ 60^{\circ} =1.732

1.732 = \frac{AB}{1.5}

AB = 1.732 × 1.5

AB = 2.598 meters (Approx)

Therefore the height of the wall is 2.598 meters .
