The Ladder is 6.5 m long

To solve this, we can use the Pythagorean Theorem, which is a^2+b^2=c^2

First, we need to solve the equation for c. This will give us  c =\sqrt{a^2+b^2}

Lets have the distance, 2.5 m, be b. And 6 m be a

Now, lets substitute in the values into the equation and get \sqrt{2.5^2+6^2} = c

This simplifies to  \sqrt{42.25} = c

Which becomes c = 6.5 m
