Answer:

LET AB be the wall

CB be the ladder

AC= 3cm ( given )

<ACB=45

NOW,CB/AC=sec45=root2

=CB/3

length=CB=3root 2

then,3×1.41 = 4.23 is the answer

HOPE IT HELP

⚛ θ = 60° ⚛

Let the angle we need to find be θ

By the given information ,

  • ♦ Adjacent side of θ = 1.5 m
  • ♦ Hypotenuse of triangle = 3m

So , using cos trigonometric ratio ,

  • => cosθ = 1.5/3

  • => cosθ = (3/2)/3

  • => cosθ = 3/2 × 1/3

  • => cosθ = 1/2

Substituting , 1/2 = cos60°

  • => cosθ = cos60°

By comparing ,

=> θ = 60°
