• Brahmin is the highest caste in Hinduism. They are responsible for teaching and maintaining religious knowledge.
• Kshatriya is the second-highest caste in Hinduism. Kshatriya constituted the ruling and military classes.
• Vaishya is the third caste in Hindu society. Vaisya are farmers, money lenders, merchants, etc.
• Sudra is the lowest caste in Hindu varnas. Mostly they are menial workers.
• The last one is untouchables or Scheduled caste. They are also called Adivasis or Dalits.
Dalits considered untouchables they had to live outside of the villages and they couldn't enter the places of high caste members.
