Brahmins

Kshatriyas

Vaishyas

|

Shudras

• A ladder-like formation in which all the caste groups are placed from the highest to the lowest castes is called Caste hierarchy.

• In Hinduism Brahmin is the highest caste followed by Kshatriyas, next Vaishyas and the last and lowest caste is Shudras.

• Brahmins are the priests and they are responsible for teaching and maintaining religious knowledge.

• Kshatriyas are the rulers or emperors. Kshatriyas placed in the second position in the caste system.

• The Vaishyas are the third-highest caste in Hindu varnas. The last one is the Shudras.

• The Shudras are the untouchables include workers, tribal people.

• This is the lowest caste in Hinduism.
