Answer:

Let length of

A from ground be x

Let length of B from ground be y

Given:

Length of ladder =10m

The Angle of Elevation when ladder is leans against the wall at point 'A'=60degree

Also ,The Angle of Elevation when ladder is leans against the wall at point 'B'=30degree

Now

In First formed right angled triangle with Angle of Elevation we have 60degree

Sin 60= perpendicular/hypotenuse

=Lenthof A from ground/Length of the ladder

0.8660 = x/10

therefore, x=8.660m

Similarly,

In second formed right angled triangle with Angle of Elevation we have

30degree

Sin 30=perpendicular/hypotenuse

=Lenth of B from ground/Length of the ladder

0.5000=y/10

Therefore, y=5.000m

Now Length of AB= x-y

=8.660-5.000=3.66m
