Answer:

Length of ladder (Hypotenuse) = 18 m

Height of wall (Perpendicular) = 9√3 m

By Pythagoras theorem ⇒ Base^2 = Hypotenuse^2 - Perpendicular^2

                                          ⇒ Base^2 = (18)^2 - (9√3)^2

                                          ⇒ Base^2 = 324 - 243 = 81

                                          ⇒ Base = √81 = 9 m

The angle formed by the ladder with the ground is:

tan Ф = Perpendicular / Base = 9√3 / 9 = √3

tan 60° = √3

therefore, The angle formed by the ladder with the ground = 60°
