Answer

========

Given :-

Number of dozen eggs = 40

Cost per dozen = ₹12

So, Total C.P. = 40×12 = 480

48 eggs were broken,

Then, Remaining eggs would be

40 × 12 - 48 = 480 - 48 = 432

Number of remaining dozen of eggs = 432/12= 36

Cost of each dozen = ₹15

So, S.P. of dozen of eggs = 15×36 = 540

Profit = S.P. - C.P.

Profit = 540 - 432 = 108

Profit % = Profit/ Total C. P. × 100

Profit% = 108/480×100 =22.5%

Hence, Profit% would be 22.5%.
