Answer:

126

Step-by-step explanation:

A lady has 36 rs.90 paise in her bag

Re.1 = 100 paisa

Rs.36 = 36 \times 100 = 3600 paisa

So, Lady has amount in her purse = 3600+90 = 3690 paise

There are only two type of coins i.e of 10paisa and 25paise

Let x be the number of coins of 10 paisa

So, value of x coins of 10 paisa = 10x

Let y be the number of coins of 25 paisa

So, value of y coins of 25 paisa = 25y

Total number of coins were 180.

So, x+y=180  ---A

Lady has amount in her purse is 3690 paise

So, 10x+25y = 3690 --B

Plot teh lines A and B on the graph

x+y=180  -- Blue line

10x+25y = 3690 --Green Line

Intersection point will provide teh solution .

Intersection point = (54,126)

So,  the number of 10 paisa coins are 54 and  the number of 25 paisa coins are 126.

Hence  the number of 25 paisa coins are 126
