Breadth = 3 m.

Length = 5 m.

Perimeter of the garden :-

 = 2(l + b)

 = 2(5 + 3)

 = 2(8)

 = 16 \: m

The rope is to be fenced 3 times around the garden.

So, length of rope needed is :-

 = 3 \times 16

 = 48 \: m
