A lady has a total of Rs 850 in coins of denomination Rs 1, Rs 2 and Rs 5. The number

of Rs 2 coins is 5 times the number of Rs 5 coins. The total number of coins is 400.

How many coins of each denomination are with her?​

So the number of 2 rupees coins 5x

Total coin= 400

So 1rs coins = 400 - x -5x = 400 - 6x

Total money = 850

1 ( 400 - 6x ) + 2 ( 5x ) + 5 ( x ) = 850

400 - 6x + 15x = 850

9x = 850 - 400

9x = 450

x = 50

So no of 1rs coins = 400 - 300 = 100

2rs coins = 250

3rs coins = 50
