A lady is staying at a hotel. she hears a knock knock at her door.She opens the door and sees a man who said-"Sorry, I thought that this was my room. Panicked lady called the police ... why??

I think the person came to her door must have some physical gesture that makes the lady panic. Hence she called the police.

This is because he wanted to rob thier house. If he knocks, he gets to know if thay are in the house or not.

OR

In a video I saw that - Why would he knock if its his house, he will have the keys!------This is wrong because he could expect anyone from the house to open the door!!!!!!!!!!!
