A lady spends 10 percent of her budget on utility bills and 75 percent of remaining on food provisions. If She is left with 558,What is her total budget​

10% of budget on utility bills.

So, (1/10)*x = $Utility Bills

75% of the remaining budget on food.

remaining budget is 100-10 = 90%

So, (90/100)*(75/100)*x = $Food Bill

Now, you have to the math here...

25% of the remaining budget is unused and the lady is left with $558 only.

So,

(25/100)*(90/100)*x = 558

(2250/10000)*x = 558

x = 2480.

Hence, total budget is $2480/-
