her Rs. 100 and Rs. 500 currency notes. She got 90 currency notes in all. Find the numbers of each currency notes.​

Let the numbers of Rs. 50 notes be x and that of Rs. 100 notes be y. Then,

x+y=25 .....(1)

And, 50x+100y=2000⟹x+2y=40 ......(2)

Solving 1 and 2, we get,

x=10 and y=15

Therefore, lady received 10 notes of Rs. 50 and 15 notes of Rs. 100.
