Power is given by the expression,

power = work done/time

Work done = Energy consumed by the lamp = 1000 J

Time = 10 s

power = 1000/10= 100J/s

= 100 W

given that ,
   work done = 1000 J
   time taken = 10 sec.
   Power = ?
              = w/t
              = 1000/10
               = 100w
