a lamp consumes 500 joules of electrical energy in 20 seconds. what is the power of the lamp? also find the electrical energy consumed in units if the lamp operates for two hours daily for 15 days

energy consumed. =500joules
time taken = 20 seconds
power = energy consumed / time taken
= 500/20
= 25watt.

Now, lamp operate for two hours daily , energy consumed = power × time
25watt × 2 hours
25/1000 × 2 hours
=0.05 KWH
this lamp operate for 15 days ,so energy consumed by lamp in 15days = 15× 0.05
=0.75 units...
