Area of the LANE. = L×B
= (110×8)m
= 880m
= 1m = cm
= 880m = 880×100
= 88000
L of the bricks = 22cm
B of the bricks. = 8cm
Area of the bricks. = L×B
= (22×8)cm
= 176cm
No. of bricks required =
area of lane/area of bricks
= (88000/176)cm
= 500 bricks ans.
Therefore, 500 bricks are required to pave the lane.
