Answer:

area of lane = l*b= 150*9=1350m²

area of brick=22.5*7.5=168.75cm²=0.016875m²

number of bricks required=area of lane / area of brick=1350/0.016875m²

                                        =8000 bricks

        so, 8000 bricks are required

hope this will help you

Given - Dimensions of lane 150*9 m

Dimensions of brick 22.5*7.5 cm

Find - Number of bricks required

Solution - Calculating area of lane.

Area of lane = 150*9

Area of lane = 1350 metre²

Calculating area of bricks.

Area of bricks = 22.5*7.5

Area of bricks = 168.75 centimetre²

Converting the area of bricks from centimetre² to metre².

Area of bricks = 0.016875 metre²

Now, 0.016875 metre² is covered by 1 brick.

So, 1350 metre² will be covered by number of bricks = 1/0.016875*1350

Number of bricks required = 80,000.

Thus, 80,000 bricks are required.
