Answer:

The lenght of the lane = 160m

The Breadth of the lane = 6m

The shape of the lane is Rectangle.

* The area of Rectangle = Lenght * Breadth

* A = 160*6

*A = 960 sqm.

*The Lenght of the brick = 8cm = 0.08m

The Breadth of the brick = 6cm = 0.06m

The shape of the brick is Rectangle.

* Area of brick = 0.08*0.06m

* A = 0.0048 sqm

              No.of bricks = Area of the lane/ Area of the brick

                                    = 960/0.0048

                                     = 2,00,000 Bricks

 * Cost of each brick = 1.25 rupees

   Cost of 2,00,000 bricks = 200000*1.25 = 2,50,000 rupees

    Therefore, 2,50,000 rupees are required to build the lane.
