A lane 180 long and 5 M wide to be paved with bricks of length 20 cm and breadth 15 cm find the cost of the bricks that are required rupees 750 per thousand

here's ur answer..

given the length of the lane = 180m

breadth of the lane = 5m

area of the lane = l × b

= 180 × 5

= 900m²

given the Length of the brick = 20cm = 0.2m

breadth of the brick = 15cm = 0.15m

area of the brick = l × b

= 0.2 × 0.15

= 0.03m²

therefore, total no. of bricks required to pave the lane = 900/0.03

= 30000 bricks are required.

now,

cost of 1000 bricks is = ₹750

cost of 1 brick = 750/1000

= ₹0.75

hence, total cost of paving the lane = 0.75 × 30000

= ₹22,500
