Answer:

Rs. 22,500

Step-by-step explanation:

Length of lane = 180 m

Breadth of lane = 5 m

Area of lane = Length x Breadth = 900 m²

Length of brick = 20 cm = 0.20 m

Breadth of brick = 15 cm = 0.15 m

Area of brick =  0.20 x 0.15 = 0.03 m²

No. of bricks required = 900 divided by  0.03 = 30,000

Cost of 1000 bricks = 750

Cost of 1 brick = 750/1000

Cost of 30000 bricks = 750 by 1000 x 30,000 = 22, 500

Hence the cost of the bricks that are required at the rate of 750 per thousand is Rs.22500
