find the cost of bricks that are required, at the rate of Rs. 750 per thousand. in cm​

Surface area of the lane= length×width

S1=180×5m=900m2

Surface area of a brick=length×breadth

S2=20 cm ×15 cm

=0.20m×0.5

=0.030m2

Number of bricks required to pave the lane

=Area of lane/Area of brick

=S1/S2

=900m2/0.03m2

=30,000

Cost of bricks

=cost of a thousand×number of thousand of bricks

=Rs 750×30,000/100

=Rs 22,500
