Answer:

laptop = 40000

phone = 24000

profit made on laptop = 8%

=40,000*8/100

=3200

so, he made a profit of 3,200

loss made on phone = 12%

= 24000*-12/100

= -2880

3200-2880

=320

so he got a profit of 320.

hope this helps.

Answer:

Hey mate, this is your answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

Cp of laptop =40000

Profit=8%of40000=3200

Cp of mobile =24000

Profit=12%of24000=2880

Net profit =3200-2880=320

Total cp =40000+24000=64000

profit/loss percent=320/64000×100 = 1/2 (answer in fraction)

to change it in decimal divid the number (1/2)

answer =0.5
