A laptop and a mobile phone were bought for 40000 and 24000 respectively. The shopkeeper made a profit of 8% on laptop and a loss of 12% on mobile phone. Find his gain or loss in whole transaction

Profit=8%of40000=3200

Cp of mobile =24000

Profit=12%of24000=2880

Net profit =3200-2880=320

Total cp=40000+24000=64000

Net profit/loss percent=320/64000×100
