0.5% profit

ans :-

for laptop 4000×8% =320 /-(profit)

for mobile 2400×12%= 288/-( loss)

then (320-288) =32/- (profit)

total transaction is (4000+2400)=6400

then profit % is 100×32/6400 =.5%

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

CP of a laptop 40000

profit = 8%

SP of the laptop = 100+8/100 x 4000

SP of the laptop = rs 43200

SP of mobile phone = 100-12/100 x 24000

88/100 x24000

rs 21120

Total CP = 40000, 24000

=64000

Total SP = 43200 + 21120

= rs 64320

Profit = 64320-64000

= rs 320

Profit % = 320/64000 x 100

= Profit, 0.5 %
