profit of 8%
sp=100+p%/100×cp
108/100×40,000=43000
profit=43000-40000=3000

cp of a phone=24000
loss of 10%
sp=100-loss%/100×cp
90/100×24000=21600
loss=24000-21600=2400

3000-24000=rs 600
loss%=600/24000×100.
2.5%loss...is this the right answer??if not plzz correct me
