49-35=14ml
Therefore the marble dropped was of 14ml as it displaces that volume of water.

Volume of the marble is 14 ml.

Initial volume present in graduated cylinder=35 ml.

Final volume in graduated cylinder a ter marble is droped=49 ml.

Volume of marble=volume displaced by marble.

Volume displaced by marble=final volume in cylinder-initial volume in cylinder

Volume displaced=49ml-35ml=14ml

So volume of marble=14ml.
