We know that zinc is more reactive than copper. Therefore, when zinc is dipped in copper sulphate solution, being more reactive than copper zinc displaces copper from its solution and make its own salt and copper can be seen as ppt. at bottom of the beaker.
This kind of reactions are called displacement reactions in which more reactive metal replaces less reactive metal from its salt and make its own salt solution.
Now
Zn(s) + CuSO4(aq) = ZnSO4(aq) + Cu(s)

Answer:

Zn(s) + CuSO4(aq) = ZnSO4(aq) + Cu(s)

Explanation: this equation is already balanced.
